Terms & Conditions
Please read these before confirming your booking.
- This agreement is between JMS Travels and the customer for the rental of a car or scooter/bike.
- The vehicle shall be driven only by a person holding a valid driving licence.
- The vehicle shall not be used for any illegal activity.
- The vehicle shall not be given to any other person without prior permission from the company.
- An additional charge of ₹20 per KM will be applicable for exceeding the specified KM limit.
- If any damage is found at the time of returning the vehicle, the customer shall be responsible for the cost of the damage.
- Traffic challans, toll taxes, parking charges, and other government charges shall be paid by the customer.
- Additional rental charges will apply if the vehicle is returned later than the agreed time.
- The customer must be 18 years of age or above to rent the vehicle. The customer must have a valid driving licence and must submit the original Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, and Driving Licence at the office.
- A security deposit is mandatory: ₹2,000 for two-wheelers and ₹5,000 for four-wheelers. The security deposit will be refunded upon returning the vehicle in satisfactory condition.
- The vehicle will be inspected in the presence of the customer before handing it over, and its condition will be recorded.
- Driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited. If found doing so, the security deposit will be forfeited and legal action may be taken.
- Wearing a seat belt is mandatory for cars, and wearing a helmet is mandatory for two-wheelers. Any penalty for non-compliance with these rules shall be the customer's responsibility.
- The maximum speed limit is 80 km/h. Any challan, penalty, or charge imposed due to overspeeding during the rental period shall be the customer's responsibility.
- The customer shall be responsible for any internal damage to the vehicle, excessive dirtiness, or damage to the vehicle's belongings during the rental period.
- Fuel charges are not included in the rental amount. The customer must return the vehicle with the agreed fuel level.
- The vehicle must not be used for racing, stunts, overloading, or any commercial purpose without prior permission.
- JMS Travels reserves the right to cancel or reject any booking if the customer violates these terms and conditions.
- Before renting the vehicle, the customer must read and agree to all the terms and conditions.
